Glyn's interest in biofeedback was first sparked in
1998 in the course of some personal research into the
physiological basis of meditative states of mind. A
long-time practitioner of meditation, Glyn was attracted
by the powerful potential of biofeedback both as a
therapeutic tool and as a means to facilitate meditative
concentration.
Glyn trained in Ericksonian therapy with the National
School of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, and began
practising as a therapist at a natural health clinic in
Manchester. He trained in biofeedback in Switzerland,
and gained preliminary certification in 2005 - there
being no equivalent training available in the UK.
Glyn moved to York in March 2005 when he established
York Biofeedback Centre. He also spends time developing
biofeedback-related software products.
