Low Energy Neurofeedback System

The Low Energy Neurofeedback System or LENS is a unique and ground-breaking form of EEG biofeedback that offers significant advantages over traditional EEG neurofeedback, most notably that the process is shorter and less laborious.

How Does LENS Work?

LENS is based on EEG - an oscillating voltage measured from the scalp, and described more fully on the EEG neurofeedback page.)

LENS tracks the dominant rhythm or frequency within the EEG - this is changing from moment to moment. The feedback is like holding a mirror to the brain - it seems to stimulate the brain to take stock of itself and do something different. The LENS subject doesn't have to do anything, or even be aware of the feedback - the brain can find its own pathway to greater flexibility and balance.

client testimonial

"Our 11 year old daughter has always had difficulty with planning, self-organisation and poor coordination. We approached Glyn because she was starting to regularly lose her temper and also at times would become destructive. Glyn recommended LENS treatment. The day after her first treatment we immediately noticed a difference, she seemed to be much calmer and happier in herself. In the three months since starting the treatment she has not had any such emotional outbursts. Her school work has also improved and she appears to be finding it easier to learn new things."
