SAN is a European non-profit membership organization
devoted to advancing neuroscientific knowledge and its
innovative applications by empowering both scientists
and practitioners in serving the public by optimising
self-regulatory brain function. SAN has plans to develop
an accredited training programme for biofeedback.
IHM is a non-profit research and education
organisation devoted to Heart Rate Variability or Heart
Rate Coherence. IHM conducts research in emotional
physiology, and has developed educational programmes
based on the emotional heart-brain link.
AAPB is a society of professionals who are
interested in all aspects of mind-body interactions. AAPB's
mission is to advance the development, dissemination and
utilization of knowledge about applied psychophysiology
and biofeedback to improve health and the quality of
life through research, education and practice.
ISNR is an international membership organization comprised of
people from various professional disciplines working in
neurofeedback clinical practice or research. ISNR promotes the
validation and acceptance of neurofeedback.
The ISNR site has some articles on neurofeedback and
also a bibliography detailing the evidence base for
neurofeedback.
BFE was founded to promote a greater awareness of
biofeedback among European health professionals and,
through training workshops, educate clinicians in the
use of biofeedback techniques and technology.
BFE runs an annual meeting which incorporates
training workshops for practitioners.
