Electro-Interstitial Scanning
York Mind-Body Health employs innovative tools to identify causal factors behind
health problems.
Electro-Interstitial Scanning (EIS) is a powerful technology based on the established science of bio-impedance. The system is
capable of rapidly and non-invasively estimating health status in each of the
body's main organ systems. EIS estimates the following physiological parameters:
- inflammation
- metabolic activity (energy production)
- tissue oxygen levels
- hormone levels
- neurotransmitter levels
- body composition
Invented by french neurophysiologist Albert Maarek MD, EIS has been over ten
years in development, with trials carried out in hospitals and clinics in France
and Russia.
Though it should not be considered diagnostic, EIS helps guide the choice of
therapeutic intervention and can demonstrate progress.
